Product Manager / Delivery Lead



Position Description

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Program Management Advisor / Delivery Lead (DL) to join our Interoperability Product & Planning team. A DL's primary focus is to plan and execute on Program Strategic roadmaps and ensure alignment with appropriate Enterprise Operating Model processes.

A successful DL has awareness and understanding of potential impacts to scope, timing, and/or budget. This person ensures alignment to strategy, roadmap, priorities (business and technology), scheduling constraints and capacity and ensures that the teams meet service level expectations and deadlines agreed upon with stakeholders. The DL should have a sufficient understanding of technology to partner with Product Manager(s)/Owner(s) and ScrumMaster(s) in prioritization and planning conversations. This person exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives, and has a strong knowledge of Agile practices. The DL also uses professional knowledge and acumen to engage with functional leaders on the health of Program Strategic roadmaps and maintains an open dialogue on deliverable risks and dependencies.



This position can be located in one CGI Offices: Connecticut, New York, New Jersey or Lafayette, LA - Hybrid 2/3 times a week





Your future duties and responsibilities

• Manages key stakeholder expectations regarding delivery timelines, potential delays, and any risks to service delivery

• Acquires a solid understanding of and often participates in the creation of the Program Strategic roadmap

• Serves as point of escalation to address issues, risks, impediments, and conflicts for all Stories being managed

• Attends appropriate Feature and Story refinements meetings to represent delivery within the aligned Agile Program

• Supports the continuous definition, decomposition, right-sizing, planning of Stories. Ensures these activities occur in alignment with PI Planning Milestones

• Ensures collaboration occurs amongst key personnel and all are aligned (including but not limited to product, architecture, business partners)

• Ensures stories meet the Definition of Done before the work is accepted

• Attends and participates in all relevant work intake discussions and ceremonies

• Reviews and reports on SLE performance and provides transparency into how well the team is meeting their commitments

• Reviews Jira Story data to ensure it aligns with quality standards (eg: issues/risks and dependencies)

• Fosters an environment of Continuous Improvement using appropriate measures and metrics in alignment with Enterprise Operating Model

• Collaborates with other Delivery Leads to effectively manage cross-team risks and/or dependencies

• Owns and facilitates relevant ceremonies, including regular retrospectives (Service Delivery reviews) to identify areas for improvement within the process

• Supports Agile teams using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example





Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• 7+ years of experience and knowledge of the U.S. healthcare industry is a plus

• Knowledge of HL7 / FHIR Standards and Healthcare Interoperability is a strong plus

• Demonstrated experience working independently with minimal direction or guidance

• Applicable knowledge of technologies used by engineering teams is a plus, i.e. API, SQL, Python, Databricks, AWS, Json
