About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our engineering team onsite in Santa Clara. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building native Android applications, with expertise in Kotlin and Java, and a solid grasp of modern architectural patterns. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-performance, user-focused mobile applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Android applications.

Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features.

Apply best practices in coding, architecture, and UI design for optimal app performance and responsiveness.

Implement MVVM architecture and modern Android development frameworks.

Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

Apply asynchronous programming techniques (Kotlin Coroutines / RxJava) for smooth user experiences.

Leverage Jetpack Compose and Android Jetpack libraries (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, etc.) to build modern apps.

Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews.

Debug, profile, and optimize app performance.

Mentor and support junior developers as needed.
