Job Description:

Client has an exciting opportunity for a Search Engine Marketing Manager. This position will be located at our Headquarters in Germantown MD. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and energetic marketing professional to join the world leader in satellite technology and services, putting digital and traditional skills to work in promoting the company's brand reputation and supporting sales and marketing efforts globally.

 

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for paid search marketing campaign program management working very closely with our digital agencies and partners.

  • Improve and manage paid search marketing campaigns including bidding strategies, a/b testing, landing page optimizations, ad copy testing, ROAS improvements, KPI development and benchmarking performance.

  • Optimize experiences across various digital and business audiences

  • Digital campaign expansion through other search marketing platforms including BING, amazon, reddit, facebook

  • Work with SEO team to coordinate efforts across organic and paid audiences

  • Identify traffic patterns (mobile, desktop) and focus on improving customer experience and superior brand experience

  • Develop competitive insights within digital programs

  • Help evaluate additional digital marketing opportunities across display, social using search intent as a key driver

  • Help brand team with top of the funnel analysis and attribution

  • Landing page testing and reporting.  A/B insights and optimizations. Use AI/Client tools to drive results.

  • Able to analyze and interpret data (campaign data, testing and optimization)

  • Communicate findings and insights to internal stakeholders and clients

  • Defining data requirements and working with technical analytical teams to build out data infrastructure.  Help manage development of digital marketing tech stack.

  • Oversee external agencies as needed to support business objectives, including setting budgets, negotiating contracts and evaluating performance


 

Basic Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, data analysis, statistics, marketing analytics or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in managing digital marketing campaigns including 3+ with specific experience managing search programs.

  • 3+ years' experience with web analytics, performance-based marketing analysis, google tag manager or Tealium, UTM parameter knowledge.


 

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with search marketing tools – google adwords, bing ads, marin, adobe, google analytics, optimizely and/or attribution tools.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to navigate across business stakeholders and senior leadership

  • Experience managing agencies, consultants and business relationships

  • Intellectual curiosity, root cause analysis, data driven discovery, anomaly/exception reporting, dashboard and KPI
