The event took place from June 19 to 25, 2017 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. Located at the Michelob Ultra 19th Hole Sponsor Club on the 18th hole, we invited clients and prospective clients to join us.
The 2017 Travelers Championship showcased 156 professional golfers including Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Jason Day and Justin Thomas. Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy made their respective first appearances at the Travelers Championship this year. Jordan Spieth won the PGA Tour’s Travelers Championship 2017. Daniel Berger came second place, and Charley Hoffman came in third.
Sponsoring the tournament allowed VLink to give back to the community once again
One hundred percent of the net profit from this event gets donated to local charities. This event is the largest fundraising event of the Greater Hartford Community Foundation, Inc., which benefits social welfare organizations, the citizens, and other community institutions. Since its inception in 1952, Connecticut’s PGA TOUR event has donated more than $36 million to charities in the surrounding community.
