Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement infrastructure automation pipelines for deployment, scaling, and monitoring of data platform components.
• Build and validate data migration pipelines to support onboarding and modernization of agency data systems.
• Support the Data Platform Team in building the foundational architecture (Data Platform Foundation) used across departments.
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of platform services through proactive monitoring and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and drive DevOps best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues in CI/CD pipelines and provide solutions to improve reliability and delivery speed.
• Maintain documentation of platform configurations, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Python).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), particularly related to data platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of networking, system administration, and cloud security best practices.
